Registration & Trip Costs

Land costs for the 10-day program are $ 3,895.00 per person for shared accommodations, with an additional $ 450.00 for single supplements.

The 1 day/night Havana extension option is $ 225.00 per person sharing and $ 265.00 per single traveler.

Reservation forms are accepted on a first come, first served basis, and must be accompanied by a $ 700.00 deposit payable to Caribbean Conservation Trust. Enrollment is limited to 14 travelers. CCT Cuba programs have sold out quickly this season. Fewer participants may result in a reasonable small group supplement. With a total of 12 participants, add $ 150.00 per person for a small group supplement.

Please do not write the word Cuba on any check or other official payment document.  You can write “bird survey”, for example.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
A U.S. Passport valid through the date of return is required.  Those who are not citizens of the U.S. should contact Gary Markowski for requirements (cubirds@aol.com). Cuban Tourist Cards (visas) are issued at the airport from which you depart directly to Cuba.

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:
Check with your doctor or the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta. Currently, no vaccines are needed for Cuba. In the case of questionable health, the operators reserve the right to require a physician’s certification to affirm that you are capable of the activities.

RESERVATIONS, APPLICATIONS, DEPOSITS:
Early reservations are required to insure your place on this trip.  All reservations must be accompanied by a completed reservation form and a minimum of $ 700.00 deposit.

RATES
All forms and fares are accurate at the time of publication (January 2024), but are subject to change at any time prior to departure.  It is our policy to only pass on the actual amount of any increases in airfares or land costs such as those increases due to the devaluation of the dollar.  A price increase may be called for if the group falls below the minimum of 10 participants.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS:
All cancellations must be done in writing and are effective upon receipt in the Caribbean Conservation Trust office located at 353 West Todd Street, Hamden, CT 06518.  Should it become necessary for you to cancel, all payments will be refunded after a deduction of our cancellation fee as outlined in the program description.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND CONDITIONS:
CCT Travel, Inc., the Caribbean Conservation Trust, Inc., and/or its agents assume no responsibility or liability in connection with the service of any train, vessel, carriage, aircraft, motor or other vehicle or conveyance that may be used wholly or in part, in the performance of their duty to the passengers; neither will they be responsible for any act, error or omission, or for any injury (including death), loss, accident, delay or irregularity that may be occasioned by reason of any defect in any vehicle or conveyance, or through neglect or default of any company or persons engaged in conveying the passenger; or for any hotel proprietor, or for any other person, engaged in carrying out the purpose for which tickets or coupons are issued.

In the event that the tour operators deem it necessary or advisable for the comfort or well-being of the passengers, or for any other reason whatsoever, to alter the itinerary or arrangements, such alterations shall be made without penalty to the tour operators.  Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the passengers. We reserve the right to withdraw any or all tours offered should conditions warrant. We also reserve the right to decline to accept or retain any passenger as a member of the tour.  In such instances, the full, or an equitable, amount will be refunded to the passenger, but this amount shall not exceed the amount paid by the passenger.  No refund shall be made for any passenger during operation of the tour.

The sole responsibility for any airline used in these tours is limited to that set out in the passenger contract evidenced by the ticket.  Airlines and other carriers are not responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances.  This restriction shall also apply to all other types of carriers, including car rental companies.  The services of any IATA and ATC carrier may be used in connection with these tours. CCT and constituents shall not be held responsible for any penalties or charges made on a special purchase on discount tickets that, due to schedule changes or cancellations, must be changed by the participants.
